The short version
Armchair Combat does not use targeted-advertising cookies. Essential storage keeps forms secure, remembers your privacy choice and saves game progress on your device. Optional anonymous measurements stay off until you allow them.
Essential technologies
- armchair_session: a temporary, first-party, HTTP-only session cookie used for form security. It expires when the browser session ends.
- ac_privacy_v1: first-party local storage recording whether you allowed optional measurements and when you changed the choice.
- Game storage: local browser records for pilot profiles, progress, settings, cockpit layouts, trophies and replays. These do not leave your device during normal play.
These are necessary to provide the controls and functions you request. Blocking them may prevent forms, saved games or privacy choices from working.
Optional anonymous measurement
If you consent, ac_analytics_id stores a random first-party identifier. It helps us estimate return visits without an account. The server converts it to a one-way, site-specific daily value and stores only limited event totals and approved context. The site does not use Google Analytics or third-party advertising trackers.
Promoted links
Promotions are selected by GroupCore, shown to everyone rather than tailored to a profile, and fetched as a simple approved feed. Following a link takes you to another site with its own privacy and cookie information.
Change your choice
Use the “Privacy choices” button in the footer at any time. Selecting “Essential only” stops optional measurements and removes the random identifier from this browser. You can also clear site data in your browser; doing that may remove saved games.
