Our aim
GroupCore wants as many people as reasonably possible to use the Armchair Combat website. We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA for the public information, legal, download and suggestion pages.
What should work
- Keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator and skip link.
- Responsive layouts that reflow on smaller screens.
- Headings, labels and landmarks that support assistive technology.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images.
- A reduced-motion preference that suppresses non-essential movement.
- Privacy and suggestion controls that do not depend on pointer input alone.
Known limitations
The cockpit game is a dense, real-time visual simulation and is not yet fully usable with a screen reader, voice input, switch control or high magnification. Some rapid game information is conveyed spatially or by colour as well as text, and some keyboard controls cannot currently be remapped. The Windows preview may expose fewer accessibility semantics than the website.
We are treating the browser game as an evolving preview. Planned improvements include remappable controls, stronger non-colour status cues, scalable cockpit modules, captions/transcripts for voice and sound warnings, and a more complete reduced-motion mode.
Tell us about a barrier
Use the suggestion form and select “Accessibility”, or email info@groupcore.co.uk. Tell us the page or game screen, what you were trying to do, your device/browser and any assistive technology. We will consider the report and respond if you provided contact details.
Assessment
This statement was prepared on 8 September 2026 following an internal review. It is not a claim that every part of the real-time game currently conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA. We will update this statement as testing and remediation continue.
